Soft and cheap looking
I've been buying Vera Bradley bags for years and these new bags (recycled tote, recycled for travel etc) have no structure. You no longer have a solid base to keep the bag stable. This Glenn tramp was lithe and oddly shaped. The top is about 14 inches long and the base is only about 8 inches long. The pocket is maybe 3 inches deep. When carried, the bag looks unbalanced. Also, the tabs look so cheap and if you tighten the bag you lose half of the interior space. The strap also has leather. The bag just screams cheap bin bags, not VB. Quality and functional design are things of the past with VB. But the price keeps going up. going back.
