These were great volleyball shoes to begin with but they only lasted a year until the boot ripped out of the ground leaving a large 2 inch gap. The heel pad also steadily shrank until I was forced to add insoles about 6 months later. In comparison, I averaged about 4 hours of baseball per week in these shoes. I only expect a $100 shoe to last longer than a year of intermittent play.
