I love the teacher. I use it with my Giant Shepherd Mix. I was really keen to get one for Bambi, my 15 pound Chihuahua mix, so we can take her training to the next level. I was very happy when I saw that it suits her! Rather than twisting the strap on itself like I do with my large dog, the strap on this one is long enough to simply wrap around the neck twice. She has a 12 inch neck. She's a muscular baby so I looked at the pictures I've included to decide if she would be a good match for your dog. It's fat but small. I highly recommend using the trainer to learn how to use Ecolars. I got the first trainer I took my other dog to and fell in love with the newfound trust and respect my dog has for me. This is a game changer! But if used incorrectly, it can quickly overwhelm your dog.
