I really like minimalist card holders. It's not one of them, at least not in the traditional sense. To be clear, this is your front pocket wallet (you'll likely crush it in your back pocket over time) and it's on the smaller side of the wallet spectrum. But for what you wear in it, it adds solid volume. Compared to a Herschel map case, for example, it is about the same length and height, but about twice as thick. I still like him very much. I first ordered the button-down version and found it too bulky. It's much better without it and it fits perfectly in your pocket or your hands. If you are carrying this in a pocket or purse I would go for the button closure version. The metal compartment fits 4 credit cards if they all have raised numbers, 5 if two cards are flat (e.g. driver's license or health insurance card). The card ejection mechanism works very well and is the star of the show. It offers extra space for a small amount of cash, restaurant punch cards, etc., which is a plus compared to a basic card holder.
