I'm not a podiatrist but these blades are very sharp! Not knowing exactly how to use the tool properly (I linked the photos here on the Amazon site), I went ahead and removed a small ingrown nail with ease. I ended up going too far with the angle as the blade is really sharp it takes a lot of steady hand to stay on the trajectory. from all the imperfections in the nails I have on my feet. So I hope this doesn't put anyone off buying this set, it's really good - I probably just have sensitive skin on my legs or legs in general. Sort of like learning these things as I go through life. I hope they last a long time with their sharpness. Great product from Segbeauty for a beginner like me.
