Don't waste your money

I bought two of these, one for home and one to take my daughter to college. Readings are everywhere. We've calibrated and recalibrated it and now we feel it's within a degree or two of accuracy; However, I'm not comfortable with the fact that it would accurately detect my temperature. For a long time it only showed 91 so if it showed normal temperature I'd be dead. Now I can have it read from 94 to 98.6, but I have to take the temperature several times and use "average".
