Has never been strangled with a cloth.
I bought the size XL and it fits like a micro bikini (I have a small top and a large bottom). Definitely designed for ladies with smaller waists. I would recommend that brands that make these types of fits allow the consumer to purchase these fits separately so they can get the sizes they need. not just a general choice :) The fabric was pretty.
