I have thick but short lashes and have been a big fan of L'Oreal Volume and Butterfly Effect, Maybelline Lash Sensation, Dior DiorShow, Too Faced Better than Sex and Domination Whip of in the past bare minerals. So it's safe to say I was looking for the right balance between cost and a high performing product. This mascara is exactly that. I love how my lashes look and feel after a coat or two. The brush is coated with mini bristles that separate on application and the formula is non-sticky or harsh with minimal clumps and rinses off easily. The price is closer to pharmacy brands, which means I can buy as many times as I want, but the performance is at a high level. It gives me results that are a mix of butterfly effect and lash dominance in length, definition and volume - which I love, which is why it has become my go-to makeup product. A touch-up at the end of the day (without chipping or cracking my lashes) refreshes and darkens for a more dramatic evening look.
