Review on 💦 Optimized Flush Valve Seat Disc - Fluidmaster 5103 by Greg Cunningham

This valve seat stops ghost flushing on a 30 year old US 4049 (at least that's what happened to me). I had a latch although it took a lot more effort to remove the old part than I thought it has worn badly and the rubber has lost all of its ductility. Use caution but force when removing the old valve seat washer. I turned mine counterclockwise for a while, thinking it must have been a screw, before realizing it was taking a lot of effort to pull the old one out. Much luck! No more ghost flushes or wasted water! You will likely recoup the cost in the first month. Simple solution!
