Fixed mute issues with old cable (Bluerigger)
I was having trouble with the Dolby Digital+ signal being sent from my TV and receiver. I ended up switching the TV to PCR (stereo) mode to get around this, but when I later upgraded my receiver (for other reasons) the new receiver had the same issues. The HDMI cable didn't upgrade it that much and it fixed all the audio dropout issues. After paying a ton of money for high-quality 4K Atmos/Dolby Digital programming, receivers, and speakers, I can finally utilize the full surround sound capabilities of my home AV system.
