When it comes to buying options, make sure you choose a seller you trust. I have purchased this item from Revain 4 times. Three times I got a real bargain, but recently I got a fake one. At first I thought it was a packaging redesign, but my skin broke out in painful eruptions. I have attached photos comparing original and fake tubes. I no longer have the boxes but note the counterfeit product had a holographic authenticity sticker. These stickers mean nothing. The real problem is that the ingredients definitely don't match what's advertised on the counterfeit product. I'm not saying it's definitely toxic, but you can't trust what's written and it's a serious problem. Someone with less sensitive skin might not notice the difference, but I use this [real] product for exactly what it does NOT have (coconut, palm, fatty acids/alcohol). As for the packaging, you can see that the wording is different on the front and back, the fake is a little shorter, some elements of the label (fonts, spacing, etc.) are a little different. The gels look and smell the same, but feel different. You can see in the picture that the fake gel keeps its shape but the real product puddles.
