I have this ViewSonic to replace the 19 inch ViewSonic in my main gaming system. (i7-4790, 16GB RAM, GTX-1060 6GB GDDR5 RAM). The old monitor ran at 1366 x 768 and I decided to upgrade to a higher resolution monitor to match my new graphics card. The installation went well. Included with the monitor. After all the connections were made, I turned on the monitor and started the operating system. Win 10 loaded the normal default driver it always loads and the system boots up Appearance Also I had to change the font size in Windows 9 to 12 so I could read the text on the screen better (I've never had a monitor with that resolution before and I think some of my problems can be adapted to a larger screen area). I then installed the new drivers downloaded from ViewSonic which were intended for Win 10 64-bit as that's how I run and install them. To my dismay it didn't seem to help at all at first. Then, after some thought, I found that Win 10 doesn't use ViewSonic drives, it still uses the stock drivers. I switched the drivers to those for the monitor and it looked a lot better. I tried a few games on it and the picture was great and it works really well here. I bought this monitor primarily for use in gaming systems and it did its job really well. All I can say is that this monitor is great for gaming but leaves a lot to be desired when using it from a desktop. Installing the drivers correctly helped, but the desktop image didn't quite match the old 19" ViewSonic monitor I was using. But I have to admit that he came very, very close!
