Review on Optimized for SEO: HitLights Warm White LED Strip Lights by Kantrel Tunstill

Very bright, beautiful color, but HOT! I found a solution to make them PERFECT

As many have remarked these lights are very bright almost too bright to look at directly and I love them. I mount them around the wooden bathroom vanity (which now looks AMAZING) and these bulbs get very hot, almost to the point where you can burn yourself if you touch them. I'm not worried about touching them, just that this temperature shortens the lifespan of each LED. Solution: I bought a roll of shiny metallic tape. Not to be confused with duck tape, a strong reinforced adhesive tape, but rather thin metal tape used for metal ducting (used in forced air heating systems). It is available at all major hardware stores. Take one with no writing (just a shiny silver surface), stick it on the surface you want to put the light on (it's very sticky and won't come off), then peel off the back of these lights and stick it on the duct tape. Duct tape is a perfect conductor/dissipator of heat so the LEDs stay fairly cool and the duct tape reflects the light very well and looks good when applied smoothly (you can smooth out any creases if they appear). Hope this helps you!
