I don’t usually wear modal but I have one skirt that is modal that I love. Modal doesn’t attract dog hairs or lint so you usually look polished. It has a slight sheen but this cardigan on the whole is such a deep dark black, that it’s really not noticeable. It’s just more of a knit than cotton or wool- which are what I typically tend to buy.This is a casual flowy style cardigan and I think it’s very nice. At 5’3” the medium hanged a few inches below my derrière. Which I like, because at 5’3” wearing a medium as you might guess,my derrière isn’t small and I’m too old and unhip to want it sticking out. If you have narrow shoulders, the shoulder seems will sit on your upper arms (most shirts are this way for me unless I have them tailored so it’s not unusual.It is very light and feels nice and soft. A steal at the price of $14-$16!
