Review on ๐ŸŽจ WINSONS Glow in The Dark Paint Set - 8 Colors, Non Toxic, Long Lasting Luminous Neon Paints for Fabric, Canvas, Wood - 8ร—22ml by Heather Shaw

Very fine ink, more like ink

It was very difficult for me to work with these colors. In my photographs you can see several layers of paint; In order to see anything I had to let the paint dry (or almost dry) and apply another coat. Unless I was using some great brushes that hold a lot of paint, I'm not sure it would be visible at all. I let them dry by hanging them over a fence in my garden, so they could recharge under the Hawaiian sun. It should have made it but the glow was very faint. I tried to photograph it but it wasn't bright enough, at least not purple, which was generally only visible around the outlines. --- I'm updating this review to note that after over an hour under strong fluorescent lighting, purple glowed dimly (no visible color) for about 10 seconds, while green glowed slightly brighter for a minute or two. I have actually worked with a range of different luminous materials in dark environments (now I mostly work with hot glass so I used pigments mixed directly onto the glass) as well as paints, inks and crayons. For some reason it's just as difficult for adults Finding a serious glow in the dark, like finding dinosaur clothing or clothing that glows in the dark. The second picture is a dress I tried to decorate with these colors. They really are more like ink! They did a lot better with fabric than wood (my first photo) and considering it's old wood it should have soaked well and soaked up a lot of paint but I ended up with mostly contours there just like on the ( cotton ) dress. It's dawn now and I'm having a hard time finding a place dark enough to really see what they're doing. If it shines brighter in an hour or two I'll up my rating, but this time. I'm not very impressed. They are currently charging under fluorescent lights, so they charge in the dark. I also tried them under black light which didn't work, but since it's a glow-in-the-dark pigment I wasn't expecting that. Green and Yellow tend to glow brighter, so I used 1 Green and 1 Purple. So far this is pretty disappointing. It's dawn now and I'm having a hard time finding a place dark enough to really see what they're doing.
