I usually give this powder four or five stars. I've bought it for years, countless times. It's different this time. First, the mirror suddenly split in half. Uncomfortable. Then, in just a few weeks of use, I used up enough powder to see the bottom of the compact. It usually lasts a few months and I don't use more than usual. There is less powder in the compact than before. Then just the other day when I opened it, the lid broke. I know this is a common occurrence with these plastic cases, but I can't remember the last time this happened to me with this product. So I'm not sure if the loop is of lower quality, but I'm sure the mirror is quite a bit smaller and there's a lot less powder in the can. This is really disappointing as I love its slightly translucent quality; not as sticky as other powders I've used. CoverGirl, if you're reading this, I'd rather you raise the price than make these changes. I will look for a different product next time.
