The description says it's plant-based but when inquiring the manufacturer says it's polyester and viscose (may be plant-based). They also say in questions that they are NOT biodegradable. So basically it's the same thing as hand wipes, which I can't stand. I quickly bought them because a professional cleaner recommended them on YouTube. My fault is that I didn't check everything carefully, but I was fed up with sifting through tons of information only to find out they are all lies.
