Review on ISound Leather Keyboard Portfolio Black by Robert Jaskolski

This manufacturer seems to be the only one making a case to hold an existing iPad and bluetooth keyboard. I can really fault the materials used in the construction of this case. My main issue is that the pouch that holds the keyboard is actually too small for my keyboard. It fits side to side perfectly, but it's not deep enough for my keyboard to close properly, causing the velcro straps to keep opening. Still better than the one I had that fell apart. I first bought a case and keyboard from Brookstone. Both were great. However, I took it everywhere and the part of the case that holds the iPad inside started falling apart. That's when I started looking for a replacement case. Each time I faced the same problem. They wanted to sell me a keyboard with a case. Some of these cases cost $20 and I kept wondering what was the money spent on? If it were on the keyboard, I'd expect the case to fall apart soon, but I couldn't know without seeing the case in person. I'll admit that most of the support reps I spoke to were very nice, and many of them admitted that the main cost factor was the keyboard. It wasn't until I called Revane late at night that I finally found the person who found what I was looking for. The best part is that it was an extra item (as long as I wanted it to be red) so I had to buy more stuff to fill the order but I still had stuff I wanted to buy. So I got a $40 case for $4.53. It works out. It opens simply by sitting closed on a table about every 5 minutes. Another small complaint. The landscape standing design isn't the best. A little hit on the table and it falls. It's a bit tighter in profile mode, but not by much, and only when you open it up as shown in the image. I hope the attached photos illustrate more clearly what I have described in this review.
