Let me preface this review by letting you know that I have two different versions of the same pants. Version 1 - I bought the big ones that fit me. Hardly. But as others have said, the bars don't stay together at all. Even without pants, the buttons unbuttoned at the slightest touch. Very good pants, very bad zipper. Love the hip protection and the adjustable padding (knee pads) allows for a good fit. My wife reports that the nighttime visibility is above average and the reflective parts do the job. Version 2 - same pants but this time I bought extra large ones (my poor ego took the hit). When the strap adjusters are fully seated, they will fit. they fit better than the big ones. However, this version includes improved pant closures. A bar and buckle (similar to dress pants but more durable). I'm happy to report that Joe Rocket listened to all the complaints and fixed the shutter issue. The rest of the pants are the same, just better to close. FYI: Measure your waist at the belly button for any pair of motorcycle pants, including these. Motorcycle pants are designed to sit just above the waist.
