When you receive your package for the first time, you may be a little disappointed. It is packed in a very tight plastic bag with a vacuum seal. Seems too small and too light. Turns out the cake isn't a lie! Phew out and good to go. I didn't notice any smells either. And the same softness inside and out. There is an elastic band on the wrist like a sweater to protect your hands. The hood is huge and so warm that it can reach my chin with my head pulled up if I want to. I'm 5ft 11" and it's just below my knees. It's currently 30 degrees outside and I have no heating, sometimes I have to direct a fan towards me, otherwise I get too hot. The only drawback, which should always be something, is that the material is very soft. Not soft, super soft. Sitting on a leather sofa is like walking down a hill. Once your body gets used to it, you'll be fine. If only sweatpants and socks were made from this material.
