Our LO is 1 year old and we have had her for about two months now. I recommend that your LO use them under your supervision as I have found that our LO is in a position that could lead to large debts if we weren't there. Now she's getting to the point where we worry less because she's very familiar with them and knows how to put them on and take them off. They did a great job helping her learn other ways to navigate her surroundings. They also did a great job helping her pull herself up and generally stand. I usually hang her on the wall and put some safe items on top to give her the motivation to pull herself up and get up. Overall this is a good product if you are willing to pay the rather high price for these items. My only complaint, hence the 4 stars, is that they don't seem to stick to any material. I've tried them on carpets, hardwood floors, the big playmat we already had, those pieces of tile that stick together to make a little cushion to play with, etc. I dont know. Maybe someone else figured it out, but not us, so it's quite annoying how they move so easily. We have these body pads, which I use as a border when they're together, flat on the floor to somehow hold the configuration together. Do we buy again after the fact? Probably no. I don't really regret this purchase, but I have a feeling there are cheaper options that might work better. Hope that helps!
