It took her about 24 hours to get used to the collar and figure out the best way to adjust it. The scent definitely seems to linger because it's quite strong. If you're sensitive to smells like me, you'll have to get used to it (not a bad smell, it's actually pleasant, just strong for the first week). We used to have these scented, calming plug-in pheromones for cats. We have 3 cats but one of them has become more aggressive since our 4th cat died (she was close to him). We tried very hard to help her with her attitude towards others, but everything just worked. She wasn't attached to anyone anymore, wanted to be alone and didn't play. This color seems to help her a lot. It took her almost a week to get going but now she is VERY clingy to people which is great. She is tolerant of other cats, but still has no interest in playing with them or keeping them too close. She doesn't want any of them in front of her face or right behind her, but she will enjoy watching them play or watching them. I think this is a really good buy. She's only wearing a collar. I'm wondering if I'll collar them all if it will help her feel more comfortable around other cats. I will try, I think I will buy more! (Each collar lasts 30 days)
