Garbage piece never worked

I bought this as a backup for Macbook Pro to keep it with the internal ready to have The hard drive failed, when this happened I tried to replace it but the hard drive never worked. It was a piece of junk that no computer recognized and a waste of money. I wish I could try sooner, didn't get my money back.
