It should be good to buy now.

Update: 12/29/2020 The company offered and refunded my purchase and advised that they have changed some quality control measures in their operations. Based on this, you should feel confident trying them out. First check: The printer is not using non-Kodak inks when attempting to set it up on a computer. And before that, when making printouts, the ink was terribly erased. waste of money.
