One Cord works great. Another of the cords is a little spongy at times, but it's usually good if it stays taut. However, one of my cords was an absolute pain. It was very loose in my phone's aux port. At first I thought it was my phone, but the other extra cables worked fine. If it touches or rotates even slightly in the port, you need to push and rotate it until you are in the right place.
