This is a great tote when you want more privacy for your pet when travelling; Flaps on each side are good for pets that may be territorial/protective or shy/fearful outdoors (there is one mesh side that is uncoated, so be careful). There are two places you can open the carrier to load your pet, so they're pretty useful too. The bag is too big for my pup as he is a toy breed---sometimes I can feel him wriggle a little when we walk and the bag shifts on my shoulder. The shoulder strap doesn't offer that much stability when traveling, but it can definitely be adjusted to make you and your pet more comfortable when walking. The pockets are a welcome addition, providing ample space for food, treats, canvas bags and poop. All in all, this is a great carrier option. However, I would like the bag to be finished in more solid/neutral colors with additional coverage for the open mesh side so it's not as obvious as a pet bag.
