Review on RCA TH1702 Thumbdrive Style Player by Shigg Bigbee

I originally bought an RCA TH1702 MP3 player from a retail store in 2009. It worked fine for a few years but I had trouble connecting the player. to a USB hub on the computer. Sometimes the device would turn on but not connect to the computer, sometimes it wouldn't even turn on. After it completely stopped connecting, I decided to replace it with the same make and model from one of the sellers on Revain.com. I then ordered a second replacement to give to a friend. Both arrived a day apart and were listed by the sellers as 'used like new'. Both seemed " After two complete failures in the connection mechanism, I have to assume that it is a model-specific problem. I give this unit a hearty "Not Recommended". NOTE: This is an older model, they no longer make new ones. This makes me question the wisdom of buying a new RCA MP3 player.
