Replaced all my construction pencils
Got these to abuse them with woodworking projects and light framing work. So far so good on that front. They obviate the need for buying more construction pencils, since the lead is strong and fairly easy to keep sharp. They do have two drawbacks versus pencils -- they can roll far more easily, and because they're better and more expensive, you're more attached to them and thus dropping one 15 feet to a slab is really not in good form. Other than that, they're nice and will put up with reasonable mistreatment. It's like a tot pencil for adults, just bigger yet.
