No more need to remove the belt to pass TSA inspection. These straps are great and I've stopped using my leather straps altogether. Very easy to adjust and once engaged they will never come loose. I wear them with North Face hiking pants, jeans and Under Armor golf shorts and they look great. Haven't tried them with golf pants or trousers but they will probably look good. I have a waist size of 40 and just cut off a few inches with scissors and then used a lighter to secure the end.
