We have bought our cat some larger and more expensive cat caves, beds and climbing aids but she likes this little cube best. She jumped into the box as soon as my son assembled it, stood in it for a while in a thoughtful pose, and then fell asleep. We forced the cube to be placed next to my husband's desk to stop her climbing. on his lap while he works and so far it has exceeded our expectations. She sleeps upstairs, at cuddly distance during the day, while he works, and climbs into the little cube to sleep during the noisiest and brightest hours of the day. I don't know how durable it is or how long it will last, it's a bit rough, scratchy on the top and side. But we're happy to take another if this one falls apart.
