Review on 🔖 3M Scotch Self-Sealing Laminating Pouches: Bag Tags with Loops (LS853-5G) - Glossy, Pack of 5 by Amy Mcleod

I wanted cute luggage tags that I could stick anywhere, so the obvious answer was to make my own. The great thing is that both sides are transparent so you can see the design from both sides, so I used a pattern card to create the inserts. All you have to do is align it properly, remove the protective film and then gently press it so it seals all 3 edges. One of the cards I used was embossed so the sticky side didn't stick to it well. When I run my fingers over it, the clay becomes crisp. Also, you need to make sure you leave enough clear edges so everything is sealed - there's a bit of space between the inserts and the sealed edges (because you're not running it through the laminator to get all the air out). If you trim the inserts too much they may not seal all the way around. While I'm sure the plastic loops are durable, I don't find them particularly attractive, so I just strapped them to my luggage. Overall I'm happy with it. I think he will get the job done within a few trips. It's cheap enough that if it breaks I can just make another one.
