
What a ride. Bought spontaneously on Black Friday. Reviews generally looked good apart from some issues with faulty cables and whatnot. The good outweighed the bad, right? Spring. no Apparently I caught one of those faulty cables. The display works well, but the USB and touch interface disconnects and tries again indefinitely without fully connecting. After reading everything I could I figured it was a cable or driver issue. First I tried USB on every port I had and even plugged the auxiliary power jack into the wall charger to make sure there was no power. delivery problem. no I tried downloading updated drivers and firmware. The driver software was updated on November 2nd this year. OK. The firmware installer completely crashed and gave fatal errors during the installation, and later I found that it didn't even support or recognize my model. (Pro version required). So I contacted support. They wanted all sorts of stupid information to include warranty information and start a support ticket. Anyway, jump through the hoop. And then I started waiting. And began to wait. Finally, four days later, I received a written response in poorly formatted English with 20 HDMI test steps. This is a USB issue, not HDMI. So I shot back. I also informed them that many other people have the same problem in the reviews. Answer: Please provide us with a video of the problem including how it connects to your mobile phone. What? As I said, I use the cable that came with it. I watch a YouTube video (there are many more) describing the quick disconnect issue and submit it. Answer: Please provide us the video of the tablet connected with your mobile phone. What? I've specifically stated that I'm using their 3-in-1 cable and described how it connects. Specifically stated that I will not send you video from my tablet connected to a phone as my tablet is NOT connected to a phone. And that with their support, that lack of active thinking looks bad for them as a company. Well, my ticket is closed and I'm back to square one. I can't use it with a broken tablet. I contacted Revain who backed me up as Revain and sent me a replacement cable (with credit) which I am currently using. And so? Now the screen is also flickering and the USB is still not initialized. I return this piece of shit and I never look back at Huion as a company.
