This is exactly what I was looking for for my little one's gymnastics. My baby is 20 months old, 33 inches tall and weighs 24 pounds. It fits her comfortably and not too tight. The legs are quite long and baggy even on my tall, beefy child, so I imagine he's pretty loose for a petite build. But since it's a part, I don't think it's a big deal. Shoulders stayed high and in the gym they were sleek and comfortable. Another reviewer mentioned and I agree that it's hard to know which end is the front end. I put the higher side of the slot forward, but it could go either way.
