Review on iBrightstar Super Bright T10 168 194 LED Bulbs for Car Interior Dome Map Door Courtesy License Plate Lights, Blue - Latest Model by Kevin Graham

I ordered these to replace the T194 in my car gauges, wanted green to match the rest of the lighting in my dash. The device is bright but they heat up, with my non-contact thermometer they were over 100 degrees. The T194 bulb ran cooler than these LEDs, so I didn't use them in my sensors. I was afraid it would melt the plastic faceplate on the gauge. It might be ok for under dash interior lighting where the bulb isn't covered, but I would never use it in a dome light or any other light with a cover, for example. I have the same type but a different color from a different company and they get hot at best and I would say stay cooler than the original T194. They're just cheaply designed and not recommended unless you want to melt the outlet or the device you're installing them into.
