Good light weight tripod for phone

fotopro tripod arrived today and I have inspected and tested it at home but not tested in the field yet. First impression: 27.3 cm (10.3/4 inches) long and 5.1 inches. cn (2 inches) in diameter when folded. When the mount is installed, it is 26.4 cm (10 1/4 in.) off the ground in its lowest position, and when installed and fully extended it is 105.4 cm (41 1/2 in ) above the ground. Each telescopic leg consists of 8 sections. Each section gradually shortens as it gets smaller. Thus, the first and largest circular section is 22.7 cm long, and the last section that touches the ground is 5.1 cm long. To lengthen the legs, it is enough to lengthen them. When fully extended, grab the second upper section and twist clockwise until it locks and the leg locks in length. When you're done, turn the second section clockwise again and you can easily slide the sections back. You can actually adjust it to mid-height by just pulling out the sections you need and then snapping it into place, but it's impractical and you'll need to practice and play with it to make it work. But all the way up and down is easy. The weight is 296 g (10.44 oz), which is slightly heavier than the advertised 220 g. Still, it's almost the lightest tripod that can be mounted at 40 inches. (Check out zippod, a great z15 tripod alternative). spare part. I measure 9.2 cm (3 5/8 inches) fully open, but that's really too much and the advertised 8.6 cm (3.4 inch) hole is probably the size to use. It's made of regular plastic, but it's not very durable. The phone seems to be holding up well and will likely last a long time with sensible use. Portrait or landscape and can also be adjusted in angle. It looks like it can orient the phone so it looks straight down or up, but you may need to support the mount somehow as all angles are made with friction and adjustment can be limited due to the plastic construction. The tripod seems to be a pretty good phone tripod. big camera. All in all very light but probably not suitable for strong or gusty winds.

Cons
