My 6 year old was starting to tell the time and wanted a wrist watch. This works very well. After removing the tongue and plastic cover, the clock started ticking immediately. The strap is thick, rubberized and comfortable. What I particularly like is that the numbers on the dial are very bold and contrast well with the white dial. The big hand and small hand also come in different colors which is an added benefit when trying to show your little one how to tell the hands apart. All in all a pleasant watch.
