Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Comfortable Outdoor Women's Shoes: Athletic Barefoot Footwear for Women by Sean Spence

Even better than I could have hoped for the price

I recently took a week-long trip to the Bahamas where every day I climbed impossibly sharp rocks, walked over sharp shards of shellfish, hunted hedgehogs ( creature spikeballs ) and through sand ridges (the nasty spikes of fishhooks hiding in the sand) These shoes saved my feet throughout the trip. Even when I was climbing rocks sharp enough to pierce flip-flops and slice through flesh easily, the thick rubber soles and durable mesh kept my feet comfortable and protected. They dry incredibly fast, with small holes in the insoles, soles and mesh upper that dry almost instantly and dry fairly quickly. Even sand is simply washed off through the holes and meshes. The soles had significant grip even on wet and slimy rocks - much more grip than my bare feet or the scuba shoes I wear under my fins. They made me feel safe while exploring the wet + dripping cave and the fast drain made removing mud very easy. (Although dirt easily seeped into the shoe, it was also easily washed out when worn) The insoles have a thin mesh coating which quickly rubs at the edges on one of them after about 4 days of daily heavy use, but I have the insole off who removed the insoles and wore the insoles with no problems without them. My friend got a pair of these too and her insoles were fine so maybe I just had a bad insole. It happens. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone planning long walks on cliffs with ocean views, beaches with sharp rocks and shell fragments, or walking among spiny sea urchins without fear. .I don't know how long the wear lasts as I've only had them a couple of weeks but during a week of daily wear on some really rough terrain they've held up great. A little wear in the mesh where I've scratched them on sharp rocks but it's better than a cut leg and still great value for money.

Pros
  • Rubber outsoles
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
