I decided I needed a 4x4 matrix instead of the 2x2 matrix I was using before, so I gave TESmart a try. Overall, I'm *VERY* pleased with the fact that it was just a plug 'n' play device, no switches to install. It's downgraded a star because the LEDs on the front are incredibly bright. The "active" array to the right of the digital displays was immediately sealed with black tape. It's also disappointing that the manual would have you believe you can set the display to turn off after 10 or 30 seconds, but when you look at the remote the buttons mentioned in the manual aren't even on it. Maybe for a different model? I - maybe - need to find some colored but transparent tape to stick on the digital displays to darken them.
