Review on Timberland PRO Leather Bifold Pullman Men's Accessories for Wallets, Card Cases & Money Organizers by Jose Smith

Solid feel, fits well, very comfortable

TL/DR: I only stayed a week but I feel solid for the solid content I have. We've switched from triple to double with minimal reduction in wallet contents. The external ID window is very convenient. I used to have a leather triple wallet with six "credit cards," three membership cards, three insurance cards, two ID cards, and three keys (yes, metal keys). In the three years that I have used it the item has flattened out to a bulge and due to wear and tear it had multiple stitching and linings. This was not uncommon as seen in previous wallets, as the leather was padded with smooth fabric lining. I've been thinking about getting a smaller wallet for a while, but found the idea a bit off-putting. I bought Crabby Wallet a few years ago but found it too minimalistic except for specific use cases. I keep multiple cards for different things day in and day out, and my desire to keep spare keys in an almost unforgettable place also defied reductionist thought. This is why I've always preferred triple wallets - more folds, more space for things. What particularly struck me about this wallet was the ID window. In my case, I needed an easy way to present my ID for job registration. This made things easier compared to my old wallet as the ID window for this wallet was part of the inner gusset. I also liked the solid construction as I was tired of old wallets falling apart and wearing out the cards they were meant to protect. When I received it, I really liked its feel. Branding aside, the outer leather felt premium and durable. Inside, the durable fabric construction stood out compared to previous wallets. This made it look a little cheaper (and the color didn't help that perception), but it felt a lot more durable. I ended up throwing a key and a "credit card" out of my wallet. This wasn't made to accommodate the size of a wallet - it easily fit those things. It was a personal choice based on usage - both items were rarely used so taking them out of them only made sense. The bulge is roughly comparable to an old wallet. The likely culprit is the more durable construction, although the signature leather patch on the inside doesn't help. One of the most notable differences I've noticed between this wallet and my old one is that I no longer have to worry about my keys falling out as the durable fabric "compresses" them better and the ID window no longer requires me to have his open . check wallet. Overall I'm very happy with this wallet and would recommend it to anyone looking for a durable wallet to hold a decent load of mixed items. If my opinion changes over time I will come back and update this review.
