Matches my early 80's KitchenAid stand mixer perfectly and replaces the original brushes. Installation is a breeze. When loosening the screw, just keep your fingers light on the screw to keep the old brushes from unwinding and scattering around the room. The brushes are "keyed" which means they can only be properly installed one way. Take a flashlight and shine it in the hole and it will be easy enough to see which way they are going. Or just pay attention to the orientation of the old brushes when you take them out. I probably didn't need to replace them, but for now I had to take everything apart to replace the (also original) grease, which I decided to put in new brushes at the same time.
