My god it's like a new gearbox

This is such a big improvement over the BMW "mini" shifter. I was worried about the bushing coming loose, so I drilled a hole and screwed in a sheet metal pan head screw that just bites into the rubber switch. The hub still spins freely, but it won't come loose at 75 mph! Now I feel a lot better when I switch.
