I love this little thermos! I use it and two more for my mom's water, juice and milk every morning for breakfast. They will keep you cold at night. I put the water on with a few ice cubes the night before. I put the milk and juice containers in the freezer overnight (without the lid) and add cold juice and milk early in the morning for her to have breakfast in a few hours. It is easy to open and use. They are a little tricky to clean as two pieces of rubber need to be removed and reinserted to wash hands. Since I've color coded them according to their contents, I just give them a good wash daily without removing the pads. Once a week I remove the pads with a small spatula to clean them more thoroughly. It's a little difficult to close the lid tightly. I find that holding the cap straight and rotating the bottle on the counter works best. Forcing them won't work - it's easy. If the rim of the cap doesn't touch the entire circumference of the bottle, I take it apart and start over. When the rim is in contact with all paths, no leakage occurs. Do not fill the bottle past the base of the neck. It won't seal if you overfill it. There are tiny pins that connect the top of the lid to the bottom and secure the push button opening mechanism. I'm checking to make sure the pins aren't starting to come out. If they do (and they will!), just use a pair of needle nose pliers or another small tool to push the pin back into place. I'm sure it would be difficult if not impossible to replace the pin if it came out all the way. Using this little thermos allowed my mom to cook breakfast herself and saved me from having to keep in touch all morning.
