I'm constantly trying to keep my desks free of condensation, and living in hot, humid southern Louisiana it's a constant struggle year-round. I will never have another type of coaster again. They have protected my fine wood tables for over 5 months and are holding up better than expected. Sandstone coasters can be expensive, but I would definitely order them again.
