Design flaws or poor workmanship

Bought for my cat who likes to lie down and scratch the edges of stairs. It was assembled quickly, but a major design flaw. The instructions state that there should be slots for metal anchors. There weren't any, even when I felt under the covers. Even if there were slots, the anchors would be too short to line up with the screw holes. (Tried to add photos but the app wouldn't accept) When I screwed the ends to the top of the platform, the exposed anchors had sharp edges that would be dangerous for the cat, especially when lying on its stomach. Still gave it 3 stars because the return and refund was quick and easy. The sheath is not super cheap, the rope is well glued. So crap about anchors.
