I wanted a simple black belt with a simple buckle. I was a little hesitant to buy this belt at first because of it's "ratcheting" feature. Once I got it and got the one end cut to length, set it and used it the first time.I was amazed. It is a really great belt! Easy to undo when you have to take a leak too, no back and forth eith a traditional buckle or slide to lock style. This buckle has a quick release lever on the bottom. I have never had an issue with it hanging up and accidently releasing either. I will buy again in the hopefully distant future given it all holds up.
