You can make a bed canopy with this fabric! I did a closer look at Amazon and decided it would be best to build a canopy rather than buy one. This is the cheapest fabric I've found on Amazon and it's worked brilliantly for a canopy! It's the perfect amount of transparency and quite silky! I bought 6 yards and it was the PERFECT amount for a bunk bed hanging from an 8ft ceiling with the extra length touching the floor. If you want to make a canopy for a large bed, use at least 9 feet of fabric. I folded my 6 yards nicely into a plastic bag and you just need to fold everything together (be careful not to tear it), the shorter side will be your quilt to floor and the longer side will drape around the bed. I recommend using fabric glue in a hot glue gun to hem the fabric around the large, strong ring. The cut ends will be secured with tape so you don't have to hem them, and the cut sides should be machine hemmed to prevent fraying. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the fabric catches on everything even if it's slightly bent or sharp, it frays or starts to fray so be careful but overall it's a great purchase and don't think twice before you buy it!
