Most baby hats don't seem to ventilate enough to me. Most of them are made of nylon, which does not let air through, with small ventilation holes on the sides. While it is suitable for paddling in the wind, it is not very cool in calm or light winds. This cap ensures good ventilation of the crown. , but has a few other quirks that have kept it from getting a perfect score. My biggest issue with the design has to do with the drape of the neck. Instead of an easy-breathing fabric, it's a fairly heavy cotton fabric that wicks sweat well but doesn't let air through. Another problem is that the neckerchief has no way to secure it. to the side. I plan to add buttons to the scarf and brim to give the neckerchief a better function.
