I need to increase the length of the network cables I connected and they worked fine. The only problem I've had so far is that you have to make sure the ends are fully seated in the sleeve. If the cable is tugged, the ends will pull out of the connector a little and the connection may be lost. If the pair is placed in a place that doesn't need to be moved, where it won't be kicked, etc., they will work as advertised. You worked for my needs.
