Your cat is a carnivore, it uses absolutely no grains in its diet like a dog. The fact is, this grain can upset your digestive system. Is your cat accidentally throwing up heaps of light yellow pellets from this mixture? Or, even worse, the liquid feces are suspiciously the same color? Please note that there are two colors of pellets in this bag. I'm assuming the light yellow is pure grain, mostly corn. My cats (1 Siamese, 1 Maine Coon) digest other foods, probably meat, but the grain option causes a mess. It didn't happen all the time, maybe weeks to a month or two, but of course the vomit and poop came eventually. It's sad because I've been buying this bag for YEARS and just assumed it happened to cats. I switched to a grain-free version a few months ago, and you know what? NO MESS! Just like that it stopped. I feel so stupid for feeding my cats garbage for so long. Do yourself a favor and check out the grain free product, Purina actually makes a very good product called Purina Beyond with the same salmon flavor. It's a shame that a company as big as Nestle's Purina would make a product that is scientifically wrong for the animals it's made for. Avoid grain!
