I'm 5ft 2in and about 140-145lbs, size 4-6. Mom has hips. I ordered a medium as I have a 34D. Girls are placed on top. There was plenty of room for shoulder straps for taller ladies, but the bottom is BIG. Either I have to pull the suit up to my chest or it hangs heavily on my butt. I could probably order a small one and it would be fine for girls too. I would have considered exchanging them for a different size rather than returning them but I ordered mint green and received blue which is not my jam. So I'm just over it now.
